Decommission and Archive Lotus/IBM Notes/Domino databases
With the decline in popularity of Lotus/IBM Notes/Domino many applications are being decommissioned and archived. However, the data may still be relevant. If the data is not to be migrated to a new system BUT still kept in a readily available format, a solution is needed. Rather than keep a Notes/Domino environment active JCS developed a process to archive the database without the need for special software.
The tool renders all the Notes documents into pdf format and builds a HTML interface (mini website) which mimics the Notes Views.
All the files are then packaged into a neat structure that can be used direct from DVD, hard drive or network drive (it assumed that everyone will have a web browser and an pdf document reader).
JCS can customise this solution to become part of a migration project. This would enable the data to be imported into third party solutions. We would be happy to discuss your specific needs and customise a solution for you.
We have over 20 years Notes/Domino experience and have written hundreds of Notes applications so please contact us to discuss your requirements and to get a quote on archiving your Notes databases.
